STATEMENT OF THE JOB: Protect Life Protect employees, Company and customer assets Ensure that no unauthorized person has access to our property. Secure the premises Respond to emergencies (medical first aid, fire and any other emergencies that may arise). SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday- 6 am to 10 am (20 hours/week) RESPONSIBILITIES: Adhere to the Execaire safety policy Protecting life is the first responsibility of all security guards; they must ensure that all personal safety is kept at the highest level possible Keep all unauthorized persons off the premises Secure and protect Company assets and customer assets including aircraft Give all new employees (as well as all contractors) an orientation on their first day at work. (On health & safety, security, emergency evacuation procedure) Give first aid to any injured person. Perform security patrols Complete all necessary documentation under security responsibility (day log reports investigation reports – theft report and all others) Perform search investigations and compile reports Know Company policies and procedures within the scope or the department. Administer customer service at the security office Ensure that all employees are in compliance with Company identification card and ADM id card regulations Administer parking permits Part of the emergency team Passenger screening Replace guards on vacation QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position IMP is committed to Employment Equity and our goal is to be a diverse workforce that is representative at all job levels.
