Due to continued expansion and the award of a programme to deliver the Best Telecoms Network in London for Telefonica we are now looking for a Junior Reporting Analyst. This is a homeworking opportunity with regular meetings with department manager who is also based in the area. Main Purpose of the Role This role is going to be part of the IT/Reporting team. The team is responsible for delivering operationally focused performance reporting solutions initially focused on the Beacon2 London delivery programme. The Junior Reporting Analyst will be responsible for day to day running and delivery of the reports. Liaising with and providing outputs to non-technical audiences. The integrity of the reports is key as they will be used for strategic decision making. This is a junior role on the team and will offer great opportunity for someone to develop and progress their career by learning from a well-established team using some great tools and technology. Key Responsibilities Delivery of a number of reports to a wide range of stakeholders across the business. Performing integrity checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data within the Atlas Management system. Developing sound understanding of the processes and solutions supported within the team. Guided by the BI Manager, developing process mapping documents and keeping documentation up-to-date. Supporting and covering for other colleagues within in the immediate team Role holder will also have the opportunity to learn/support development/maintenance of reporting solutions which include internal reporting, senior management dashboards and regulatory reporting. Performing checks to ensure the integrity of the data and reporting within ICS Essential Skills, Experience and Competencies ETL management and design Microsoft Excel – Min 2 years’ experience including Pivots/Power Query Ability to work with complicated data sets, drawing reasonable conclusions High degree of numeracy Analytical ability and aptitude for problem solving Ability to build relationships effectively, both within the immediate team and wider business Accuracy and attention to detail An aptitude to learn A professional and courteous approach Desirable Skills, Experience and Competencies Technical background or an IT related Degree Any Experience with VBA, ETL, MS SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS or Microsoft Access, Power BI Experience of successfully working within a role which is highly numeric or technical Knowledge of the products and services provided by ICS Telecommunication experience Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £25,000.00 to £27,000.00 /year Experience: Excel Pivots/Power Query: 2 years (Required) ETL Management and Design: 2 years (Required)
