For more than 40 years, IBS, Inc. has been a family owned specialty supplier of solution centered products and services to maintenance and repair shops. Providing to this market products such as fasteners, cutting tools, abrasives, aerosol chemicals, fittings, electrical, & safety products that are specifically designed to save labor costs and improve profitability. IBS, Inc. employs about 50 people and more than half of these are outside sales representatives who are assigned to specific geographic territories throughout the northwest and intermountain regions of the United States. Its salespeople service the industrial, transportation, heavy construction, agriculture, automotive, & municipality markets. They are route sales people, working from their homes, setting their own schedule, managing their existing customer relationships and developing new business with target accounts. They conduct product demonstrations with maintenance personnel, mechanics, as well as providing vendor managed inventory service to keep the customer adequately stocked on the items they need quick access to in the their shops.
