And right now we have a great opportunity for you to be a part of that difference - we're looking for a group of casual Kaitiaki (Community Hub Host) to join our Walter Nash Centre, Ricoh Sports Centre and Koraunui Stokes Valley Community Hub teams (you'll work across all sites) on a casual on-call basis. Jobs don't come anymore front-line than this one. You'll be the face of Hutt City Council - working directly with our diverse community to ensure they get the most out of everything we have to offer. Your ability to think on your feet, communicate with all parts of our community, combined with your passion for amazing customer service will mean you'll be a star in this role. Your days will be diverse, working with council, arts, recreation, libraries and of course our community - who are at the heart of everything we do. You'll not only be advising our community of the programs and events we have to offer, you'll also have the opportunity to review our offering - ensuring they remain popular and relevant. For this position you will need to be physically fit with the ability to lift, as well as being technically savvy as you will be assisting with technology and systems as part of your role.
