Position Overview: The primary function of the Assembler is to verify and assemble perforating guns within Hunting’s expectations. Position Responsibilities and Specific Duties: Reporting to the Perforating Guns Supervisor, the Assembler will be responsible for the following: Review Routers and work instructions Receive and verify products to production package Confirm job order procedures and instructions relating to assembly. Strictly follow instructions, job specifications and blueprints. Read blueprints accurately to properly assemble. Assemble products per specifications and meet all quality standards. Operate hand tools as necessary. Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions. Identify and stamp parts for traceability. Inspect products per print. Keep are clean, perform minor maintenance as needed, and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel. Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or the equivalent is required. Preference will be given to those with previous experience in a similar role. Mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of Measuring Devices. Able to read and interpret blue prints. Work effectively as part of a team. Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, including computing rate, ratio and percentage. Work Environment / Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Will regularly work near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions. Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock and vibration. Must have the ability to wear hearing protection when required. Exposure to noise levels that maintain under standard levels. Proper protective equipment us required as directed by the safety department. Required to wear at a minimum the following Personal Protective Equipment; safety glasses, steel tool boots, hearing protection and any other PPE as directed by the safety department.
