Humankind are an established provider of substance misuse, health, young people and families, employment training and education and housing services. We are proud to be a national charity based in the North East, promoting fair chances for all. We have a number of opportunities for Children and Young Persons Workers to join Humankind’s team within Newcastle Treatment and Recovery (NTaR). The service will be led by Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust delivered in partnership with Changing Lives and Humankind. Launched on 1st December 2019; NTaR offers high quality care, promoting opportunities and supporting best possible outcomes for individuals, their families and communities. The successful post holder will match our ambition and commitment to provide the highest standards of service quality and performance across Newcastle. Main duties of the role will include: Working with children and young people (including young adults under 25yrs old) reducing the harm of substance use to the individual, family and wider community. Providing holistic support to children, young people and families as part of the wider NTaR Service, including assessments, care plans, PSI delivery, structured interventions and partnership working. Working to ensure effective delivery of children and young people tailored interventions and support within the wider NTaR integrated service model.
