Human Appeal is a faith-based charity that aims to abolish poverty by providing humanitarian aid, sustainable development programs and championing advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide. We have an exciting opportunity for 2 Temporary Fundraising Assistants to join our team based in Manchester. You will join us on a full-time basis in a seasonal role for approximately 6 weeks to support our busiest period in the lead up to, and during, Ramadan. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £17,000 per annum, pro rata. This would be the ideal role for an Experienced Fundraiser or Charity Volunteer with excellent communication and people skills, who is looking to gain experience for their CV or take the next step on the career ladder! Our ideal Temporary Fundraising Assistant: Confident and personable with excellent networking skills Demonstrable experience in Fundraising or relevant Charity Volunteering Passionate about humanitarian aid and the work of Human Appeal Organised and well-presented with good time-management skills Ideally an additional language, such as Arabic or Punjabi A driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable Benefits of joining as our Temporary Fundraising Assistant: Fun and sociable team environment!
