We’re looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our Engineering team at our Manufacturing Facility in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring that you and your team of Engineers develop and deliver the maintenance strategy for the manufacturing assets that deliver a best in class level of performance, quality and legality. You will lead your team and manage external contracts to deliver agreed levels of quality and service. SHOW US HOW ITS DONE Understand the criticality of plant and equipment to business performance and prioritise and manage maintenance activities to deliver agreed levels of performance. Negotiate and manage Service Level Agreements and contracts to gain maximum benefit for Hotel Chocolat. Maintain accurate maintenance records to establish cost of ownership, to facilitate proactive maintenance and better procurement of new equipment. Manage the efficient procurement and availability of spares and consumables to deliver plant availability targets. Organise, monitor and control statutory compliance requirements within the maintenance department Comply with Hotel Chocolat Safety, Health, Environmental, and Hygiene standards. Plan, control and implement projects to support with business growth plans Work as part of an ‘out of hours’ support function. WHO YOU ARE & WHAT YOU HAVE Demonstrable experience of managing technical issues to resolution. Good problem solver, pragmatic approach and hands on. Pro-active with good organisational & planning ability, able to work strategically, systematically and with structure. Able to identify root causes and implement permanent solutions. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to coach effectively and drive performance and team development Excellent communicator, able to supervise and influence others.
