Supports and coordinates all aspects of the new model cycle to introduce improvements into product design that address past or ongoing problems or provide new benefits to Canadian consumers. Ensures appropriate service preparations are made when new technologies are introduced with new product. Develops understanding of customer complaints through surveys and comparison testing to drive future product improvement. Summarize and quantify important concerns for Canadian customers. Present issues to design and R+D for re-occurrence prevention and countermeasure on new model vehicles. Identify potential problems or satisfaction issues with upcoming technology as it applies to the Canadian customer and dealer infrastructure and practices. Manage progress towards most appropriate solution to mitigate market concerns. Coordination, design and analysis of vehicle quality and satisfaction surveys to determine and prioritize key customer concern items. Develop test plans and coordinate preparations for test events. Provide direction and leadership during events. Emphasis on cold weather testing in northern Canada Lead service side improvement of deep rooted multi organizational problems which span design, factory, and service factors. Research and investigate part and feature function and usage in unique Canadian market conditions to support Honda Research and Development's understanding and specifications for the Canadian environment. Co-ordinate task list timelines and special service activities required to support introductions of new technology for new vehicle launches. Evaluation and testing of wheel and tire combinations for use in after sales and service support. Qualifications: 5 + years of experience with automotive service or quality analysis Engineering degree or equivalent Outstanding Data analysis and summary skills: High proficiency with Microsoft Access query builder, SQL or Excel to manipulate and link large amounts of data from multiple sources. Ability to quickly summarize data into a simple, understandable and convincing direction for action. Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repair and system function Strong self-starter with good leadership capabilities and high standards. Ability to think critically and use data to support or refute opinions and ideas Experience with vehicle service and dealer servicing practices. Strong English communication and presentation skills. The ability to communicate in Japanese would be an asset. Ability to multi task and balance priorities in fast paced environment. Valid driver's license and ability to drive multiple passenger car types for vehicle testing purposes. Must be able to travel internationally.
