Main Activities: Calculation of annual standard labour & overhead rates of each manufacturing process Preparation of cost estimates / quotes for new products / customers and product changes Update BOMS (ad hoc as needed) Assist Stock counts (ad hoc as needed) Load cost estimates / quotes on customer websites Assist with recons for tooling requirements Negotiate and calculate annual customer price reviews and adjustments Maintain old and new part records and summaries of projects Maintain Customer tooling inventory (ad hoc as needed) Draw up tooling audit information and submit Maintain and upgrade MMS system for tooling The most important competencies Functional Time Management. Must be organized person who can work under pressure Personal Customer Liaison; work independently; attention to detail; persuasion ability; Mathematical ability Interactive Administration skills; balance situational influences with own instincts Qualifications, certifications and experience that are necessary to fulfill this position Matric certificate with tertiary costing diploma/degree preferably Computer Literacy – Excel especially Financial background / experience Deadline driven Work with accuracy Effective communication skills Mathematical ability Syspro - preferred Manufacturing background
