The role will include assisting partners and associates on the preparation of security documents, research, preparation of SDLT forms and registration applications, scheduling deeds, undertaking searches, preparing reports on title, amending draft documents and generally assisting and reporting to the partners in the team. Transactions are varied and can involve investment, industrial, development or hospitality and leisure properties. The team is supported by a full-service practice and regularly works alongside the firm’s Banking, Corporate and Construction teams. Key responsibilities Communicating to clients, other parties and legal advisors by email, letter and telephone Assisting partners and associates with their workload Undertaking basic drafting utilising precedent bank and dealing with basic transactions from start to finish Management and collating of files and information under a central protocol using set IT systems What we are looking for Essential: A basic working knowledge of and some experience in property or property finance, Land Registry procedures and registered titles A Law Degree or equivalent to Good IT skills Strong communication/interpersonal skills Ability to prioritise and plan work appropriately so that deadlines are met Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent attention to detail Vision 20:20 Vision Grow our people, Grow our clients Create an inclusive culture that is a representative of all sections of society.
