Your Role and Responsibilities: Assess and drive activities needed to define initial project requirements. Create aligned project plans and schedules by working with customers and cross-functional team members. Manage and direct project activities needed to achieve objectives - utilizing permanent and/or contract staff. Work with teams to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts and draw valid, defensible conclusions. Anticipate, assess, and mitigate project risks and ensure visibility to cross-functional leadership and customers. Inform and drive decision-making as needed to ensure scope, schedule, resource allocations, and overall direction are in the best interest of both short- and long-term project objectives. What is Required for this Role: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or scientific field is highly desired. A minimum of 5 years of medical device development experience (product and/or process) is strongly preferred. A minimum of 5 years of medical device development Project Management experience is highly desired. Project Manager (PMP) certification is preferred. Strong ability to understand, draw connections and manage both the “big picture” as well as the lower level details of the project. The ability to develop a good working relationship with the client and each team member is a key requirement of HMC Project Managers. Proactive ownership of all internal and external communication requirements and project reporting requirements – both internal and external, at peer and executive levels.
