We are looking for an Accounts Assistant for a 6 month fixed term contract based in Albany, Auckland. As Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for banking, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, sales reporting, credit control, invoicing, billing reconciliations and SOX reporting. This is a high volume transactional role. You must have at least 2 to 3 years’ experience in an Accounting role accompanied by an outstanding phone manner, communication skills, a high degree of attention to detail, a good command of English language (both written and verbal), and enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment. Your computer skills need to be at an intermediate to advanced level utilising the Microsoft office suite. The ability to work as part of a team and a high level of customer service is essential for this position. The successful applicant will have: A friendly and outgoing personality with a good sense of humour Enthusiasm, adaptability and flexibility Excellent communication skills, both with external customers and internal teams The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines A good working knowledge of the MS Office suite At least 2 to 3 years’ experience in Accounting positions Proven experience in managing the relationship with stakeholders Experience in delivery of accurate and timely information If this sounds like you, apply today!
