So what will you be doing all day? You would join us in our Lenexa, KS headquarters office as a Human Resources Business Partner working on things like… Serving as an internal consultant and business partner for assigned business units to build and ensure the success of people strategies. Identifying and resolving critical issues for the client groups as well as the proactive implementation of best practices to promote and develop a highly positive and engaged workforce. Providing proactive consultation in all areas of workforce planning, including employee relations, talent acquisition and management, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, retention strategies and manager/leadership development. Collaborating with all aspects of HR team to ensure cohesive delivery of HR programs and services to the business. Assessing and modifying existing programs and policies to ensure market competitiveness, alignment with Henderson's culture and direction, and with a focus on performance and culture. Providing day-to-day guidance to team and organizational management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). We'd love for you to apply for this position if you… Possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or other relevant field (required) Have a PHR or SPHR certification (preferred) Possess 10+ years of broad technical and functional expertise in all components of Human Resources, including: talent acquisition; culture and engagement; leadership and organizational development; total rewards/compensation and health/welfare benefits; human resources metrics analysis; employee relations / communications; and employee training/career development. Hold a track record of successfully serving as a trusted, strategic advisor and business partner to senior leaders. Handle highly sensitive employee relations issues and/or sensitive data issues requiring discretion, partnering with legal, investigations, and security. Are inquisitive, curious, and show creative problem-solving capabilities by understanding business drivers and cultural dynamics that address the root cause of organizational issues. Have the ability to influence others and drive change through trust, respect and highly communicative relationships at all levels.
