Our client is an innovative pharmaceutical company with a focus of developing cell-based therapies for acute and chronic liver diseases. They are looking for a Manager of Preclinical Development to help drive the company towards becoming a leader in regenerative therapies. As Manager, you will: Contribute to building the preclinical package for cell therapy development, seeing projects through key development milestones and submission to regulatory authorities Supervise the planning and management of pre-clinical studies for use in regulatory documents, including proof of concept, pharmacology, toxicology, and biodistribution studies Manage contract research organizations (CROs) and external collaborations to support pre-clinical development programs Work with other project teams and colleagues to ensure that all pre-clinical studies are carried out efficiently and to a high standard Write and amend preclinical study plans and reports You will bring to the role: Ph.D. in biological sciences or a Masters with experience in discovery/basic research developing the preclinical package for drug development projects Hold a FELASA C accreditation Expertise in biologic pre-clinical drug development and the relevant EMA/FDA/PMDA requirements (toxicology, biodistribution) for regulatory submission Experience working with CROs and third parties Proven expertise involving the complete the drug development process, and the capability to troubleshoot complicated methodological program issues In return, you will receive: A supportive and dynamic working environment Fantastic career progression opportunities Competitive salary If you have the skills and experience for this opportunity and the ambition to take on this position, please call Hattie for further details or email your CV today.
