As part of Culligan International, world leader in water treatment our strategic plans are ambitious and as a result we recognise that our team are critical to us continuing to grow and deliver exceptional business results and first-class service to our customers We have an exciting opportunity to join the team, as Lead HR & H&S Business Partner you will be responsible for supporting the business leadership team in delivering a comprehensive Human Resources and Development service that, in alignment with Harvey Water Softeners strategic priorities, adds real value to the business. You will contribute to the success of the Company via effective leadership, engaging with employees throughout their journey at Harveys, providing a supportive environment that makes Harveys a great and safe place to work. Reporting to the General Manager, you will develop and manage the HR & Health & Safety function, responsible for leading and continuously improving the safety performance by providing professional site/business Health & Safety advice to management. You will be involved in all elements of health & safety management for the business, including the ownership of H&S policy, risk management, incident management & response, training & development and maintenance of all documentation. Leading the management, development, and implementation of HR procedures relating to recruitment, onboarding, reward and retention and overseeing the management of payroll. You will shape, develop and implement a clear people strategy that feeds into the overall organisation's strategy, working collaboratively and partnering with key internal stakeholders within the business to drive through the people agenda. Requirements: Your Knowledge, Experience and Skills Must hold MCIPD or equivalent qualification Ideally hold NEBOSH or equivalent qualification You will ideally have experience of working in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on H&S You will support in driving business strategy and help lead towards our goals You will have strong employment law knowledge and be driven to continue your own learning and development. Training principles including the learning cycle and learning styles Willingness to travel within the UK to attend functional meetings or to provide HR & H&S support Able to build credible relationships across the client group You will be an effective influencer, strong communicator both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt your style to the audience. You will be confident in delivering advise and guidance to managers and colleagues alike, building strong working relationships. You will be a creative thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit and able to recognise and develop opportunities that will benefit the business Have a flexible approach and can respond to changing strategies and tactics to match the needs of the situation You will be results driven, with a can-do attitude, you’re self-motivated and be prompt at decision making Be able to develop and coach individuals & teams in order for them to perform to their best abilities Be able to competently and credibly operate at a senior management level You will be experienced in managing change Significant experience across the generalist range of HR activities, including handling complex issues, developing and delivering OD initiatives, self-sufficient in identifying solutions to people-based matters Personal and organisational development Management and development of people Talent management and succession planning To apply for this exciting opportunity, please send us your CV and covering letter stating current remuneration.
