(Description de tâches en français disponible, voir plus bas) The Harris Finance team is looking for a a Bilingual Controller to work with the group VP of Finance and the Senior Management team. You will provide financial support and analysis for the Quebec and Canadian Healthcare division. What will be your impact? Review complex revenue recognition for software contracts which are accounted for under IFRS 15, including regular review of WIP schedules; Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards (e.g. IFRS 16 Leases) and resolve accounting matters through independent research, discussion, and collaboration in areas such as revenue recognition and acquisition accounting Review account reconciliations, analyze results, and prepare reporting to senior management on a monthly and quarterly basis Acquisition Accounting - Review intangible assets valuations and prepare summary of acquisition journal entries Manage your team of remote and onsite junior accounting staff including analysts, AR, and AP. Become a business partner by providing support and analysis to the business and operational leaders What are we looking for? 4+ years of work experience in an accounting or finance environment Certified CPA or designation in progress Bilingual (French & English) Experience with complex revenue recognition Experience with IFRS reporting framework What would make you stand out?
