Hardwood Giant Canada is currently looking to add a self-motivated and growth-oriented Content Creator that can oversee all the marketing initiatives for the company. Principal Responsibilities Develop, execute and manage creative initiatives for the company. Oversee the entire creative process to drive lead growth and brand awareness. Research consumer markets, monitor market trends and identify potential areas in which to invest based upon consumer needs and spending habits. Design brand collections for new and existing products; build new ideas for packaging designs. Supervise the sign off of marketing literature and campaigns, liaising with legal and compliance personnel. Creatively optimize paid digital channels, including website, social, display, email and search. Collaborate with the design, social and content team to create successful and meaningful digital campaigns Required Skills University or Post-Secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations preferred 1 to 3 years of industry experience Knowledgeable about the fast-changing world of social and digital media. You must also monitor key competitor social media activities. Demonstrated understanding of and proficiency with social media Knowledge of various social media tools, particularly Hootsuite, TrackMaven and Later Ability to think outside the box! Must be a strategic thinker, highly motivated Must be organized and able to manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites, Content Marketing, Geo-Tagging, SEO, PPC, Email Marketing, Social Media Ad Words, Radio and print advertising Preferred Skills Previous Digital Marketing agency experience Understanding of Hardwood Flooring Possess a strong desire to learn and advance skill-sets with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment Able to work well both independently and as part of a team Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills About Us Started in 1952 from a small store in Mississauga with a mission to continuously serve the GTA with quality flooring products, great pricing and awesome customer service!
