Main Objectives of this position: - Responsible to arrange and monitor that the containers and cargoes are handled at the terminals without any problem and that the vessel and berthing operations are smoothly executed. Function and duties: - Responsible for all aspects relating to Cargo Operation - Work with other HL teams and Terminal teams to ensure smooth cargo operation for HL cargoes. - Prepare and provide an accumulative statistic of weekly lifting including both Inbound and Outbound by vessel. - Furnish special cargo application to CPU in Singapore and ensure approval is granted before acceptance/loading of special cargo onboard - Attend cargo closing and coordinate with Sales / CS pending cargo and coordinate shut outs in case vessel being overbooked - Create and prepare work-orders in SAP-RM for subcontractors - Ensure all special (Dangerous, Reefer, U/C) cargo are supported by special cargo list to master - Liaise with Sales/Marketing for cargo prospect & submit CBF to SOA/CPU. - Produce import/export discharge/loading summary & submit to parties concerned. - Send out loading confirmation to all parties concerned after vessel departure. - Ensure t/s cargo connected with first available vessel. - Reconciliation of activities with various parties after vessels departure - Maintenance of in house applications (FIS) with regard to schedules, etc - Liaison with vessel’s Master / agency / terminals / and associated vendors for a vessel’s call Qualifications and Technical Job Requirements: - Diploma with 4 years relevant working experience and/or shipping background - Good spoken and write English - Good knowledge of excel - Working knowledge of local regulations / laws - Willing to work out of office hours and on weekends as required Success Criteria for Position: - Positive attitude and willing to learn - Able to work independently - Good team work and can work under pressure and tight time lines Job Type: Full-time Experience: shipping background: 4 years (Preferred) Benefits: Health insurance 13th month salary Near public transport Learning and professional development opportunities Other
