Halton Housing have an obligation to ensure the homes where their customers live are safe and meet the full range of statutory health and safety obligations. This requires HH to have robust reporting and assurance arrangements in place for effective management of cases relating to the Homes for Habitation Act and claims for injury or loss. We are therefore looking for a Claims Advisor to join our Homes team on a full time, permanent basis. As the Claims Advisor you will be the point of contact for customer, residents and third parties who make a disrepair and or claim under the Fit for Habitation standard against Halton Housing. The role will require the individual to have exceptional customer service skills, working to strict deadlines and collating information and data and the drafting of files/ packs and reports as necessary The essential criteria for the role is as follows: Experience of working within a customer facing role; listening to customers and proactively using customer insight information to convert into action Experience and a good understanding of the Housing health and safety rating system (HHSRS) Experience of case /claim management, data management; collation and reporting of case management Please direct any questions to [email removed].
