In this role you will be central to the development of cutting edge optical switches enabling the disaggregation of complex data networks worldwide. You will oversee the development and transfer into volume manufacturing, owning the budget, timelines and risk management. You will be the communication lead internally and externally, having autonomous responsibility for multiple projects simultaneously. You will be an advocate of the development process and be instrumental to shaping its adoption within HUBER+SUHNER Polatis. This role is positioned in a cross functional multi-specialised team environment, including electronics, optics, mechanical design, software, production and quality. Your profile To be successful you’ll need to have had 5+ years’ exposure to project management of multi-disciplinary teams and be well versed managing complex projects within a structured development process environment. You may have begun your career as a Technical Lead and subsequently moved into project management, but you will need to be comfortable managing 2/3 large projects, alongside 4/5 smaller projects. You will be well versed in traditional and modern project management principles (Agile/Lean) and proficient with tools like MS Project and Jira. You will be a collaborator with excellent organizational skills, focussed on driving and motivating engineering teams to deliver on commitments; and at ease, communicating effectively at all levels within the organization.
