Key aspects of this role include: Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with the maintenance plan. Develop a product issue and resolution register. Review Fleet inventory holdings and continually refine to ensure critical and ongoing inventory is held in the appropriate locations and quantities. Remain abreast of all OEM product updates and bulletins and review for application. Review service sheets to improve flow of work. Continually monitor excavator performance and target solutions to underperforming machines. Implement product issue solutions where we have issues with factory or OEM support. Co-ordinate all improvements through the Engineering Group. Ensure all relevant back up detail is obtained for warranty purposes. Conduct all business dealings in an open and honest manor. Swire values. Following company purchasing guidelines. Ensure compliance with Mine Safety Management Plan and Statutory Safety requirements. Actively participate in continual improvement activities identifying opportunities and developing action plans for implementation where these are within your authority Incorporate safety standards and behaviours into daily tasks and activities of the teams Conduct regular workplace & machine inspections. Participate in audits In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have: Trade qualification with at least 5 years’ experience Supervisory experience preferably in mining operations Demonstrated team leadership skills Current open driver’s licence Highly developed verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in both a team environment as well as unsupervised. Demonstrated knowledge across a comprehensive range of mining excavator models.
