Opportunity: Our client is looking for passionate editors to join their content team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced copyeditor to work across a variety of industries and a chance to make a big impact by bringing their creative flair to various projects. Company: They are a rapidly growing digital marketing agency based in Cheltenham with a workforce of 40. The content team is a busy, welcoming and productive team looking for two new additions. Responsibilities: The role will involve mainly editing content; ensuring you work to tight deadlines You will have been used to writing SEO-enriched copy and ensuring all articles are proofread and are ready to publish Juggling multiple articles at once and working in a fast-paced environment to make sure work is completed to a high standard and on time Create your own relevant ideas for commissioned articles Conduct high-quality research for various genres and niches Maintain a consistent level of high-quality work Work within your team to cross-check each other’s work Liaising with external teams, as well as with account managers Essential Attributes: At least 2 years’ experience in copy editing, proofreading and copywriting Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, with a sound knowledge of grammar and spelling Educated to degree level in, English, creative writing, journalism or marketing Worked within an agency background; used to working in a fast-paced environment Experience with SEO best practices Creative ability Salary: £18,000-£20,000 DOE Working hours: 9.00am-6.00pm Location: Cheltenham Benefits: Generous holiday allowance, break out area with ping pong table, coffee machine and Friday bar time!
