We are seeking a Draftsperson to join our small, supportive team. Based in Southland, M.A.S Architecture is a fast-growing architectural design company specialising in high end residential, alterations and light commercial projects. This is a busy and varied role where you will be responsible for managing a diverse range of projects. We encourage applications from candidates who have previous experience in the building industry. Key responsibilities include: Preparing drawings for client consultations Liaison with clients and tradespeople/project teams Ensuring designs comply with NZ standards Timely completion of working drawings in line with NZ Building Code Working with councils to obtain building consent Successful candidates will have: A good understanding of New Zealand Building Code and NZS 3604 A background in Drafting and use of ArchiCAD Initiative and out of the box problem solving skills A strong work ethic An eye for detail Quality communication skills This is a great opportunity to join an experienced team with an excellent reputation.
