Our Strategy and Portfolio Management Team leads the programmes and projects that will help Groupon grow into a scalable e-commerce operation for our team and partners. We are looking for a Project Manager to build project programmes for multiple international projects. Your work will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions and change management across the business. You will keep control of all project documentation and software and ensuring projects are run as per the Groupon Project Management guidelines, supporting the Program Manager and ensuring they are set up for success. A keen eye on the future will be paramount for success, as you will be regularly assessing timelines for successful project delivery—and making sure all partners are collaborating seamlessly along the way. You’ll Spend Time On The Following You will manage a number of business transformation projects ranging from the implementation of new processes and setting up the operations for new teams, to delivering Robotic Process Automation You will enable collaboration across a variety of teams such as product, training, external marketing and others as part of an integrated delivery plan You will engage with senior stakeholders to agree on and plan for business improvement opportunities as recommended by the internal consulting team You will create and develop detailed and integrated project plans at both a project level and at a programme milestones view for various projects throughout the international business You will work closely with each work stream to generate and update the detailed project plans, maintaining a 6-week look ahead and critical path You will identify programme risks, assess the potential impact to the critical path, and work with streams to identify possible solutions to minimise the effect to programme You will act as the central point of contact for all streams and partners for the project programme You will ensure the programme is followed by all streams, holding partners accountable for programme deviation and keeping them informed of any changes You will track and report the progress of the programme and storybook against actual project delivery You will provide weekly reporting and analysis We’re Excited About You If You Have Strong business acumen and commercially astute Prior experience in delivery technology and non- technology business transformation projects Prior experience in project managing business process implementation Strong collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to build and foster a collaborative work environment, maintain effective, high performance teams, and organize people and resources to solve problems and identify opportunities Highly entrepreneurial, self-starting with a strong bias for action, and ability to make things happen Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) Knowledge of project methodologies management, including: project lifecycle, scope definition and management, planning and scheduling, monitoring, managing project teams and risk management Prior experience successfully leading and influencing teams with both direct and indirect reports, ensuring good collaboration and coordination between multiple sites and time zones and cultures A highly logical, analytical, and forward thinking approach Excellent planning, organisation, and time-management skills Confidence to challenge potential programme delays PRINCE 2 Practitioner, PMI/PMBOK or Six Sigma certification highly desirable Groupon's purpose is to build strong communities through thriving small businesses.
