GROHE is one of the world's leading suppliers of sanitary fittings and employs a total of more than 6,000 people - 2,400 of them in Germany. GROHE has been part of the LIXIL Group Corporation since 2014. As a global brand, GROHE relies on the brand values of technology, quality, design and sustainability to offer "pure pleasure in water". GROHE has always opened up new product categories. In addition to the GROHE Blue and Red water systems, these include the recently introduced GROHE Sense water safety system as an innovative building block in the growth market of the smart home. Innovation, design and development are always closely coordinated and firmly anchored in Germany as an integrated process. GROHE products thus bear the "Made in Germany" seal of quality. In the last ten years alone, over 300 design and innovation awards and several TOP placings as one of "Germany's most sustainable major brands" have confirmed the brand's success. As a pioneer in its sector, GROHE was awarded the Corporate Social Responsibility Prize of the Federal Government and included in the ranking of the Top 50 "Changing the World" by the renowned FORTUNE® magazine. About LIXIL LIXIL develops trend-setting water technologies and building equipment that contribute significantly to mastering everyday challenges and improving the quality of living spaces - for everyone, everywhere. We attach great importance to diversity - not only in our product portfolio, but also among our employees. For example, more than 50 nationalities work together in Germany. In 150 countries around the world, around 6,000 colleagues work together to offer our customers "Pure joy of water" every day. We are very proud of our motivated and talented employees, without whom our success story would not be possible. We have been part of the LIXIL Group since 2014. We regularly leave our comfort zone and love challenges! - As an innovation leader we are never satisfied with the status quo and are constantly expanding our portfolio. We rely on the latest technologies and develop intelligent product solutions that offer the customer relevant added value. We get involved and show initiative! - besides quality, technology and design, the approach of 360-degree sustainability is firmly anchored in our DNA. Responsibility for sustainability lies with our CEO Thomas Fuhr, who is advised in his decision-making by the interdisciplinary Sustainability Council. At GROHE, the conscious and sustainable use of every single drop of water is a strong focus. Accordingly, the number of environmentally friendly products, technologies and innovations is constantly increasing. We are also breaking new ground with regard to our CO₂ footprint: As the first leading brand in the sanitary industry, we have set ourselves the goal of producing CO₂-neutral this year 2020. To achieve this, GROHE converted all its production plants to green electricity in July 2019. The sanitaryware manufacturer will offset unavoidable CO₂ emissions through two offsetting projects from April 2020, supporting activities that are based on very high standards such as the Gold Standard, which was developed under the leadership of the WWF. We want to take responsibility and therefore strive for more sustainability in our processes and products. Social commitment with "Where is the toilet?" - Every year on November 19, the "World Toilet Day" takes place. Over 2 billion people worldwide do not have access to clean and safe sanitary facilities. The problem is so significant that the UN has made the achievement of equitable sanitation and hygiene for all by 2030 one of its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As part of its own Sustainable Development Goals, LIXIL is now committed to improving the livelihoods of 100 million people through improved hygiene and sanitation by 2025. So far, LIXIL has helped to provide 15 million people with access to safe and hygienic toilets.
