1. JOB PURPOSE This is new position on a newly acquired poultry farm. A farm manager is required to oversee the smooth and efficient management of this Poultry farm. Previous experience is not necessary; however, a good understanding of livestock would be very advantageous. On the job training will be provided. 2. KEY RESPONSABILITIES Ensure the best welfare standards are followed & implemented. To be able to work in a structured manner. Undertake daily stockperson duties. Maintaining detailed flock records. Completing daily welfare checks. Complying with all farm assurance standards. Following all H&S guidelines. Feed ordering. Bedding up. 3. KEY SKILLS Excellent timekeeping. The ability to drive / operate farm machinery. Health and safety conscientious. The willingness to learn new things. The willingness to work within a farm environment. Good communication & written skills Job Type: 39 hours per week, with alternate weekend working Salary: Competitive, negotiable based on experience Reporting: To Senior farm manager / Area manager Closing date 1st March 2020
