National Crime Agency (NCA) Chief Portfolio Officer NCA is a global organisation that leads the UK’s fight to reduce serious and organised crime by protecting the public through the targeting and relentless pursuit of those criminals who pose the greatest threat and risk to the UK. Operating at the forefront of law enforcement, it is an organisation undergoing radical transformation and experiencing unprecedented growth. As our new Chief Portfolio Officer you will sit at the heart of our transformation. You will be a key member of the senior leadership team, leading the planning and management of the NCA’s investment portfolio (circa £150m) that underpins our ambitious transformation plans. You will act as the subject matter expert, providing guidance, leadership and direction to all those involved in the planning and delivery of our projects and programmes, both internally and externally as our representative on a number of governance meetings and cross-government transformation boards. We are looking for an experienced Portfolio lead who has managed high value, complex and diverse portfolios of projects and programmes. The individual will inspire confidence in senior stakeholders through the depth of their professional expertise and their ability to work collaboratively across the organisation. The successful individual will demonstrate strong commercial acumen and an optimum balance of strategic vision and operational grip.
