About the opportunity: Across the business, we have an exciting growth strategy which you will be a significant contributor to. We are now looking for a highly analytical and personable Commercial/Procurement Analyst based in North Sydney. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will be an integral member of the Commercial team providing support across the board. You will be responsible for driving value, eliminating waste and providing true commercial support within the business. You will be responsible for: Analysis of historical and forecast spend and usage data to support commercial opportunities Develop regular and adhoc reports to support procurement team Support accurate master data creation and maintenance Establish the new SAP Ariba procurement platform across the Procurement team and wider business Build and develop online tenders, including any required data packs and evaluation criteria and questions Supporting Commercial Managers in the management of cross-functional stakeholder groups Responsible for helping to prepare business cases and document execution forms for sign off Supporting Commercial Managers in developing category strategies including considerations for make vs. buy, approach to inventory, insource vs. outsource, go-to-market strategies and Total Cost Management Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and risk Assist in the development of communication and training programmes to support procurement processes To be successful in this role you will need: Tertiary qualification in Procurement/Finance related fields 3+ years' experience in Finance, Procurement or other Analytical roles Advanced capability with Excel and MS Office packages. SAP experience would be an advantage. Strong problem solving, reasoning, analysis, ROI and research skills Strong attention to detail, time management and coordination skills What can we offer you?
