Goodfellow Inc is a growth oriented, Canada-based Company engaged in the remanufacturing and distribution of lumber, building materials and hardwood flooring products. We are currently seeking a Territory Manager to join our outside sales team. Job title: Territory Manager Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager Overview: This position requires a highly organized individual with exceptional communication skills, above average computer knowledge and strong interpersonal talents who can facilitate sales growth in the Saskatchewan market. The Territory Manager is expected to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services. Personally, contact and secures new business accounts / customers. Duties: · Actively sell and service our core list of company products to lumber dealers, retail flooring stores and Industrial accounts in Saskatchewan. Our core list includes but is not limited to Flooring, Panels, Siding, Decking, Hardwood and Softwood Lumber. · Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services. · Makes telephone calls / in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers. · Develops clear and effective written proposals /quotations for current and prospective customers. · Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints. · Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups. · Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities. · Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory / market. · Provides management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. · Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas. · Participates in trade shows and conventions. · Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Strong selling and customer service skills; being able to cold call and open new accounts Ability to manage customer issues and requirements through to resolution High level of accuracy and attention to detail, including good computer skills Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities Ability to perform well in stressful situations, analyze problems and appropriately solve them Must be able to work effectively in a team environment Post-secondary education is expected however industry related experience will be vital to the position.
