Currently, we are seeking an individual as a Field Marketing Specialist at our Company Support Center in Raleigh, NC, in the Marketing department. The Field Marketing Specialist is responsible for designing, creating and delivering field marketing programs that support sales and meal count growth at the local level. This position provides creative and advertising support and resources and delivers excellence in customer service support to franchisees and operators to grow the Golden Corral brand. The position works closely with the Field Operations team, as well as the National Marketing team. Responsibilities: Assists in development, implementation, and tracking of field marketing plans for DMAs and/or individual restaurants experiencing competitive intrusions, reimages, and sales declines. Adheres to budget for all managed field marketing campaigns and tactics within area of responsibility. (35%) Administrative support of local store marketing material, information, and tracking. Supports creative elements for local store marketing advertising. Creates and updates field marketing content on the Marketing website. Assists with creation of turnkey, ready-to-implement field marketing programs. (30%) Ensures all field marketing information is organized for communications to Division Presidents, District Managers and/or Franchise Business Consultants, and franchisees. (20%) Supports grand opening marketing for new restaurants by coordinating the development of local market and media profiles, exterior marketing décor, press release, and any needed photography. (15%) Completes special field marketing projects assigned. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications or equivalent work experience. 2-4 years’ experience in marketing, communications, field marketing, public relations, advertising, media relations or other external communications field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to interact professionally with internal team members, businesses, and clients. Restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus in addition to working with franchisees. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required and graphic design skills preferred.
