About Godiva Chocolatier

GODIVA Chocolatier is the global leader in premium, artisanal chocolate. The company was founded in Brussels in 1926 by Belgian Chocolatier, Pierre Draps. Nearly a century later, every piece of GODIVA chocolate is still bursting with quality, Belgian craftsmanship, and the world’s finest ingredients. GODIVA has distribution in more than 100 countries across the globe! Customers can experience GODIVA at the iconic brand’s chocolate boutiques, chocolate cafes, GODIVA.com, and at many fine retailers. GODIVA is committed to innovative and delicious food and beverage products that exceed consumer expectations and create wonderful moments. From its famous truffles and shell-moulded chocolate pieces to its European-style biscuits, individually wrapped chocolates, gourmet coffees, hot cocoa, soft serve and other indulgences, GODIVA is dedicated to bringing the ultimate chocolate experience to the world. As a socially responsible business, GODIVA has global practices and programs designed to provide meaningful support to cocoa farmers, safeguard our environment, and empower the communities where we live and work. To learn more about these powerful initiatives, visit GODIVA Cares. New Cafe Concept Visit us at our new Cafes and meet our team while enjoying a decadent GODIVA Mocha. GODIVA’s cafés have seen international success, with locations currently open in Japan, China, Belgium and the Middle East. The overall café concept has shifted with the New York City location featuring a refreshed design and a wide array of innovative new menu items that will shape and be replicated as part of the café expansion over the next few years. By the end of 2019, 10 more cafes are slated to open in New York State and the larger plan is to expand the model to 2,000 locations worldwide, with over 400 planned in the Americas. We look forward to becoming a part of our consumer’s daily life – whether it be breakfast, a midday snack or a sweet afternoon treat and creating a destination that they want to visit in order to treat themselves beyond the usual holiday or special occasion.” Working for Chocolate Your days will be filled with the decadence of chocolate when working for GODIVA. Every season we have new creativity and innovation that sparks new excitement. Our retail boutiques and cafes are the perfect place for someone who is passionate about people and loves chocolate. We are able to create special moments everyday for our customers because chocolate has the ability to evoke wonder and nostalgia. Our purpose is to open people's eyes to a more wonderful world and you can be apart of this mission and heritage by joining the GODIVA family. Godiva Cares We strive to invest in programs and practices that lead to lasting positive outcomes for our consumers, partners and communities. Below is an image of the female leaders in our organization - we believe the equality of women is not only intrinsic, but a strength to business and the world. "Nearly 1000 years ago, our namesake, Lady GODIVA, showed the world what it meant to be an empowered woman," says Annie Young-Scrivner, CEO of GODIVA. "Her legacy lives on throughout GODIVA, including the tremendous value we place on empowering women, diversity of thought, and our commitment to our communities." Godiva Gives GODIVA also contributes the time and energies of our employees to important charitable initiatives including environmental stewardship, social and economic development, and organizations that protect and support women and children. Our global employee volunteering program, GODIVA Gives, encourages our employees to dedicate their time each year during GODIVA Gives Month to causes that are important to them, and that support the communities where we live and work. We are extremely proud of the passion and commitment of our employees for giving back. Dream Job at Godiva We are excited to share The Wall Street Journal's coverage of our own Chef Chocolatier, Thierry Muret, who has been with GODIVA for more than 30 years. In the WSJ’s new “How’d You Get That Job” series, Chef Thierry shares his journey to GODIVA, where he finds inspiration, and his role in driving innovation that will help shape the future of our business. His advice for the next generation of chefs? “Never lose your passion. You cannot make happy food if you’re not happy yourself.”
