Job Requirement: Candidate must posses at least Bachelor Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering (civil), Quantity Survey or equivalent. At least min 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position Familiar with local construction marker and able to source, material and equipment. Working experience in infrastructure development, building works, ID works and also bungalow construction will be given priority. Able to call quotation, cost comparison & analysis and work out the budget. Undertake special assignment, ad-hoc function and related duties as when required. Must be able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia. Meticulous and good team player Independence, positive attitude, self-motivated, aggressive. Able to work under pressure in a demanding environment. Job Responsible: Managing, monitoring and coordinate all QS work. (take off for BQ preparation & price analysis, tender documentation preparation, cost estimation, budgetary control & reporting) Check for material requisition and ensure material are accurate within project budget. monitor overall project delivery and ensure material are in accordance to contractual item and condition prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client Monitor cost performance to detect and understand variances from the budget. Acquire quotation from suppliers/ subcontractor and assessment of quotation, negotiate and award pf sub- contractor and suppliers, prepare and monitor material delivery schedule and wastage control. Prepare and submission of monthly progress claim report and assist Project Manager. Evaluation of sub-contractor claim and issuance of sub-contractor payment certificate. Identify, determine and ensure early warning of adverse cost trends such that corrective action may be taken. Cost negotiation with suppliers/ clients/ consultants and project account. Provide advice on the range of legal, quality and contractual issues. Undertake special assignment, ad-hoc function and related duties as when required. + Willing to travel Other benefit: KWSP, Socso, EIS, Claim, Bonus, Project Incentive Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM3,000.00 to RM4,000.00 /month Experience: Quantity Surveyor: 3 years (Preferred) Education: Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred) Location: Kajang (Preferred)
