Responsibilities Provides technical guidance and support to members and identifies opportunities to sell Member IT services Monitors networking helpdesk and ensure tickets are assigned, owned, and resolved as quickly as possible within SLA Provides networking technical support Coordinate and partner with Operations team to troubleshoot and resolution of LAN and Wireless Network issues Coordinate and partner with Real Estate to prepare the opening of new locations and provision of network deployment Coordinate and partner with ISP and related hardware vendors to ensure services are delivered according to standard Onsite installation, configuration and testing of network infrastructure equipment for new locations opening and expansion Responsible for the creation and maintenance of technical documentation to ensure it is updated and current Have a thorough understanding of LAN, layer 2 switching, data security, DNS, IP routing, HTTP, VPN, and email routing Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems 3-5 years of corporate experience (installation, configuration, and support) Hands-on experience with networking troubleshooting experience required Ability to manage multiple, often competing for priorities and tasks and follow through to completion on strict deadlines Ability to use discretion and judgment in evaluation problems and creating solutions for members Friendly presence and helpful attitude Ability to work late hours as needed during site build-outs or maintenance Technical analytical and interpersonal skills required Experience in network performance tuning, LAN knowledge, network design, and implementation
