Gloucestershire Professional Services (GPS) is recruiting an experienced Assessor/Trainer in Health and Social Care to join the Apprenticeship Hub based at Gloucestershire College on a temporary basis. This is a 3 month temporary position with the possibility of extension, and is perfect for someone looking for flexible part-time hours. As an Assessor/Trainer in Health and Social Care, you will: Motivate, inspire and lead learners in the achievement of their qualifications Implement and administer all assessment and internal verification procedures Guide and support learners as to the required evidence for their NVQ or apprenticeship standard and to make judgments about that evidence Assess learners and provide feedback demonstrating a clear understanding of minimum requirements for competence whilst embedding maths and English Skills and Experience: An Assessors qualification (e.g. A1 or CAVA) is essential Up to date knowledge and experience working with the Health and Social Care sector Experience of working closely with employers and apprentices Minimum of level 3 in specialist area (level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care is desirable) Benefits: A career with us means much more than just a salary - we know that our people are our greatest asset.
