The Quality Controller is responsible for the daily inspection of assigned on-hand inventory to assure the highest outbound quality for all customers. Job Type / Category · As directed by QA Manager or QC Supervisor, conduct daily inspection of assigned on-hand inventory. · Document any issues identified in the inspection process and escalate to QA Manager or QC Supervisor to determine proper course of action. · Rework any distressed product to assure only highest quality product is shipped. · When directed by QA Manager or QC supervisor, support the inbound inspection process · When assigned by QA Manager or QC supervisor, process daily returns to determine items that can successfully be returned to inventory. · Perform all duties in accordance with HACCP food safety & BRC policies and procedures, as appropriate for location. · Observe all Company safety policies and procedures. · Perform all job duties and responsibilities in an ethical manner and in accordance with Company policies and procedures. · Perform quality intake checks and preparing reports · Positive realise prepared order based on customer specification · Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management COMPETENCIES · Good knowledge of Fresh Produce Business (Fruit & Veg)Able to learn the standards for fresh produce good delivery. · Good attention to detail. · Good interpersonal and customer service skills. · Able to work effectively in an open, dynamic and collaborative environment. · Good initiative and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues skillfully, appropriately, and in a timely manner. · Strong sense of urgency while remaining calm under pressure. · Good computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, and Outlook; able to learn and adapt to new computer applications, system upgrades and other technology as necessary. · High regard for safety. · Able to develop and maintain effective internal/external working relationships with a diverse group of individuals; a team player. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: · Fluent in English · Flexibility (working weekends, bank holidays, morning and evening shifts based on roster provided) · Transport Preferable Job Type: Full-time Salary: €11.00 /hour Job Type: Full-time
