Roles & Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: Liaising with clients from Lifesciences and Healthcare industry on project shipping plans with good understanding of project requirements and schedules. Handling daily shipping operations, including inbound/outbound shipments and local deliveries to meet project timelines. Ensure client shipping orders are processed in a timely and accurately manner. Arrange bookings with carriers/ocean co-loaders/air co-loaders. Working closely with overseas offices or partners to ensure smooth delivery of shipments. Close monitoring of shipments and providing necessary updates to clients. Registration of shipments – shipment information entry into in- house freight system including creation of Ocean Freight forwarding documents, e.g. verify copy House Bill of Lading, finalised House Bill of Lading, Pickup Order, Delivery Note etc. Ensure all shipping documents are in order to ensure smooth custom clearance. Ensure correct quotes and billings from overseas offices or partners by cross-checking invoices. Provide good client support and maintain good relationship. Preparation of shipments tracking report if required by clients. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Head of Department. Requirements: Diploma in Logistics or Business Administration or equivalent. Minimum 2-3 years working experiences in freight forwarding industry preferably in Lifesciences and Healthcare Logistics. Ability to work independently, meticulous, self-motivator and a team player. Ability to cope in fast pace environment. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with people in various levels/departments.
