Internet: www.glamox.com/gmo Position Responsible to develop existing and new business within GMO market segments: Commercial Marine; Oil & Gas; Industry, and assist with Phase 1 work within Canada for Glamox Group Based in Mount Pearl, and will require travel mainly throughout Eastern Canada, to develop relationships and network with decision makers in the defined target groups. Setting and obtaining short & long term segment sales targets. Input on growth objectives and implementation of agreed strategies. Carry out and report market research/intelligence, identify markets, product requirements and price setting. Offer market technical, application and product expertise. Continue to build, maintain and update contact management software. Participate in trade show exhibits and conferences when required. Marketing, advertising and promotion planning Participate in, and provide input into annual budgeting process Requirements Strong experience in technical sales, particularly in the marine, oil & gas and navy markets Experience with marine electrical and the marine lighting industry is a strong asset Ambitious, self-dependent and a team player Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills Natural ability to develop strong professional relationships Marketing experience in all types of media would be an asset Must be adept in use of MS Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Familiarity with Syspro ERP software would be of benefit Send Resume to [email removed] Applications should be submitted before March 17th, 2020
