A rewarding Senior Customer Service Officer position in the recreation and amenity field exists for mature minded individual with a friendly, tolerant and co-operative nature. In this role, you will: provide a professional and friendly reception, counter and shop service maintain an accurate receipting and ticketing system assist the team in providing a safe, well presented and fun facility perform administrative duties to support the team with regular operation and deliverables lead a small team of Customer Service staff assist the Pool Manager with the day to day operation of the pool reception and shop; including staff rosters, stock management, customer liaison, facility bookings assist the Pool Manager with administrative tasks like collating statistics, monthly invoicing and management of finances To be successful in this role, you must: be able to work shifts, work weekends and public holidays maintain a high level of awareness, concentration and motivation over long periods of time be able to cope with pressure and stress factors: noise, heat and large numbers of people be focused on building positive relationships with customers be able to work well in a team Gisborne District Council believes in People First, being Financially Smart and Strong, the Guardianship of Tairāwhiti, and creating a High Performing Culture.
