JOB TITLE: Inventory Officer DEPARTMENT: Supply Chain REPORTING TO: C. Smit LOCATION: Witbank ADDITIONAL INFO PURPOSE OF POSITION The inventory Officer is responsible for all the recons and processing of all the inventory as well as assistance with stock queries and stock takes for all the vans including the main WH. Processing of all warehouse related documentations, GRV’s Deliveries, transfers and stock adjustments. Planning of the execution of all customer requirements to the WH team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Stock reconciliations YE Stock takes; Daily Cycle count in FCS and AFS; Customer and project stock management Van/technician and other off site stock holdings; Warranty and returns Financial administration Stock receipting of imported stock; Passing of stock journals for physical inventory accuracy; Stock item maintenance Serial number maintenance; Stock queries; SAP maintenance w.r.t. inventory DELAGATION OF AUTHORITY N/A POSITION RELATIONSHIPS Internal External Company Leadership Team (all functions) Suppliers, Distributers and Contractors PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE [Describe required and preferred skills for this position] Required Preferred Education/ achievements Grade 12 with accounting National Diploma with Accounting II minimum Experience/ Knowledge At least 3 year's stock Recon experience and working in a stores environment Experience in processing Exposure to currency conversions Advanced Excel and Office experience. (pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s) Ability to set up and manage large complex worksheets High Level of Accuracy SAP Business one Matric qualification Financial Qualification preferred Very good analytical skills Good communication skills both written and verbal At least 3 year's stock Recon experience and working in a stores environment Experience in processing Exposure to currency conversions Advanced Excel and Office experience.
