Job Summary Coordinates new hire on-boarding, benefit administration, payroll processing, and other general duties related to the Human Resource function. Responsibilities and Duties Ensuring the effective utilization of plans related to HR programs and services Assists with administering health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations Answering employee requests and questions Assisting with new employee hiring processes Reconciling benefits statements Conducting audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs, and recommending corrective actions Assisting with the performance review and termination processes Assisting with the recruitment and interview processes Assists with managing Paylocity payroll/human resource system – updates, meetings, employee training, etc. Manages new hire process (all Gerber locations) Participates in Wee Care Committee and Safety Committee for Greenville location Support and assist Human Resources Team with projects Works closely and maintains relationships with all department heads (all Gerber locations) Works closely and maintains relationships with human resources staff and external benefit/payroll plan administrators/vendors Qualifications and Skills College degree preferred or equivalent experience (1-2 years) in the field Skills and Abilities which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.
