This position is responsible to lead the Finance organization’s Record to Report journey to Oracle Cloud. The Candidate must have a background in Accounting and Finance vs a purely technical background and they must have experience with Oracle E Business Suite to be considered. The position will work closely with the business and IT to lead the Oracle Cloud initiative and the related business process improvement, automation, and training. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of subject matter surrounding current and evolving application solutions, industry standards, best practices, root cause analysis, opportunities, and training. He/she will also work with cross-functional project teams consisting of technical and business unit team members and should have professional level service skills including an ability to communicate, negotiate, and implement processes for the applications involved. *Must have over 5 years' of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite to be considered. Position Overview: The Record to Report Cloud Manager will be a key partner to implement an automated solution to bring efficiencies to the end to end process through consolidation reporting. This position aligns the finance systems’ roadmap and priorities with business stakeholders and interacts with the application development and support teams including both the ERP and in-house developed applications. Position Responsibilities: Engage directly with business, IT, and third-party personnel and provides leadership in the decision-making process related to R2R Work cross-functionally to gain buy-in and resolve issues Work with financial systems users and management to determine appropriate system configuration and setup and adherence to system and SOX controls. Understands and implements financial accounting requirements for multinational / other countries. Work closely with the IT and Finance teams to oversee system administrative tasks as considered necessary for each of the implemented systems. Provides functional and administrative guidance as required to ensure projects are on track. Recommends changes to existing products or services to better aide the end user. Monitors task assignments and completions to ensure timely and quality performance. Reports evaluation and implementation results to senior management and other individuals as appropriate. Own Change Management activities for their area of focus Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred; other related degrees or equivalent work experience considered. Experience automating business processes in a Global company 5 plus years of experience working with Oracle E-Business suite – Multi-Currency, US GAAP and Statutory ledgers, consolidations, allocations, and financial reporting. Thorough knowledge of the systems development life cycle including structured analysis, test, and documentation required for building and supporting finance applications. Must understand technical architecture of Oracle Application across modules Must have worked on a Single Global Instance model and elaborate challenges and mitigation in running global business Experience in working with OMCS and Oracle On-Demand / Cloud solutions is a plus. Must be able to deliver and meet timelines in a fast-paces global project environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization Job Type: Contract Salary: $70.00 to $85.00 /hour Experience: OMCS: 1 year (Preferred) Oracle E-Business Suite: 5 years (Required) Oracle EBS: 5 years (Required) Oracle Cloud: 1 year (Preferred) record to report: 5 years (Preferred) R2R: 5 years (Required) Contract Renewal: Likely Full Time Opportunity: No Work Location: One location Schedule: Monday to Friday
