The company provides installation of Generators to all industries, from Hospitals, festivals, renewable energy, telecoms, general construction and is the largest supplier to the utilities sector. Generator Power has experienced rapid growth in recent years and is undergoing further expansion providing an excellent opportunity for a Field Service Engineer working from our Hitchin depot SG5. Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00pm 40hrs a week. Duties/Responsibilities: ·Carry out planned service and maintenance work on both hire fleet and customers equipment. ·Fault location, diagnosis and rectification to hire fleet and customers equipment. ·Preparation of equipment for hire. ·Installation and disconnection of equipment on site. (Synchronising where appropriate). ·Installation and commissioning of power to temporary site accommodation.(Wiring in where appropriate). ·Loading and unloading of vehicles. ·Carry out duties on call out rota system. ·Completion and submission of all company paperwork as per procedure. Qualifications/Skills required: GCSE High school or equivalent. Any Plant/Mechanical engineering qualifications Fork Lift Truck Licence (Desired but full training can be provided) NVQ’s or apprenticeships qualifications. Any Electrical qualifications would benefit role.
