Our Operations Team are the people who make the projects happen. They’ve got skills gained from industry, teaching, youth offending services, and more. The Role As the Operations Manager, you will plan, deliver and manage a diverse range of support projects. Relationships are at the heart of everything we do and so, alongside day-to-day project management activities, you’ll forge flexible, supportive, and productive relationships that maximise positive outcomes. You’ll envisage and deliver projects that make a difference and create impact whilst ensuring that all our partners are supported, communicated with and liaised with to facilitate high quality programmes. Our partners include schools, local authorities, universities and businesses as well as volunteer coaches. Your role will also involve: Creating and tracking project plans and progress and reporting on the delivery areas Creating additional networks that can support other activities including fundraising Monitoring and supporting the coaching and enrolment of volunteers and young people Supporting volunteers to fulfil their roles as mentors for young people Organising and managing training events About You To be considered as the Operations Manager, you will need: Experience and/or knowledge of working in the voluntary sector within a leadership capacity Experience of project management and building relationships The ability to identify and progress new business opportunities To be a strong communicator and have excellent organisational skills Other organisations may call this role Project Manager, Youth Project Manager, Young People Project Manager, Community Project Manager, Programme Manager, Project Operations Manager, or Charity Project Manager. This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, with occasional weekend and late-night working. Interviews are scheduled for the 10th March 2020.
