The Head of Human Resources manages the US and Bolivian HR team, inclusive of payroll. Working with other creativeand curious individuals, you will be working in a company driving the future ofeCommerce and marketing. In the 10 years since GOJA launched,nothing has been taken for granted. We explored and questioned and builtsomething new. Now we are expanding our team and need an HR leader to guide ourpeople strategy. We are seeking a Head of HR toalign our growth goals and care for our employees into an overall plan for thefuture. Our new HR leader will implement HRstrategies and programs, deliver employee communications, managingemployee-related costs through budgeting and reporting on meaningful HRmetrics. Ensures compliance with employment laws in US and Bolivia. Focuses onattracting and retaining top talent in e-Commerce arena. Responsible for implementing andmanaging human resources policies and programs in all areas of employment,employee relations, and equal opportunity employment in compliance withgovernment regulations and company goals. Partner with Leadership to supportand implement effective short and long-term strategies to attain organizationalobjectives. Combines HR mastery and Industry knowledge to appropriatelyevaluate and resolve complex HR issues. Develop and execute HR strategies, programs and initiatives that directly alignwith GOJA’s business plans and strategies. Champions a high-performance culture that delivers quality workand a collaborative team effort. Be a valuable business partner and high performing member of theGOJA management team, including problem-solving, decision support andleadership development. Deliver core HR services including recruiting, employeerelations, employee health/safety, employee learning/development, and HRlegal/regulatory compliance. Counselsmanagers through challenging performance management situations and developsHR-related improvement plans. Delivery of HR programs and services as outlined in HR calendarwith transparency to leadership and employee audience. Leadsrecruitment efforts, when needed, to attract diverse talent and build benchstrength. Leads information on benefit program options and maintainemployee benefits programs. Communicates new policies, information, and directives to allemployees. Delivers timely, high quality andimpactful employee communications focused on educating, motivating and engagingemployees Drive efficiency in overall HR operations, includingimplementation of HR enterprise services, oversight of salary/wages/benefits(e.g., labor standards/staffing, contract labor, overtime, premium pay), andperformance on HR operations scorecard/metrics. Design and implement workforce plans based on local and nationaltrends and projections. Create, roll out and process improvements relative to companysurvey. Deliver sound selection, on-boarding, and orientation activitiesto create positive new employment experience and reduce first-year turnover. Foster high employee engagement through the development ofstrong HR programs and team execution of engagement action plans. Establish effective employee recognition programs. Overseesthe compilation and reporting of human resources metrics to leadership team;recommends strategies for improving these metrics with the goal of increasingthe effectiveness of human resources management. Deliver on HR KPIs and metrics. Worksacross multiple HR disciplines, departments and countries to establish cultureof collaboration and innovation. Qualifications: At least 7 years of progressive Human Resources Managementexperience in a generalist capacity – across all aspects of HR preferably in a global, multi-location environment. Bachelor'sdegree in human resources, business, or organizational behavior or relatedfield or equivalent experience Master’s Degree preferred Certificationsfor Human Resource Professionals (SPHR) preferred. Experiencewith HRIS and PEOs helpful. Previous supervisory responsibility required. Familiarity with and knowledge of employment laws required. Must be Bilingual and able to effectively communicate bothverbally and written in English and Spanish. Fluency in both required.
