Project Manager, Tech Transfer, Biopharmaceuticals Summary Our client, a fast-growing biopharmaceutical manufacturer, has engaged GForce Life Sciences to identify a project manager with strong scheduling and tech transfer experience to join them in order to assist their site in an operational readiness program to prepare for drug manufacturing of a commercialized drug at a new facility. This is an exciting time to join this firm as they are deeply entrenched in delivering world class drugs to the marketplace to assist in unmet cancer therapies. Duties / Expectations of Role Contribute to and facilitate the optimization of the Operational Readiness project schedule in Smartsheet. Utilize established risk management, project management and reporting tools in Smartsheet. Report and update OR workplan in Smartsheet at required frequency. Work in partnership with project leaders and other project managers to ensure timely, efficient, and effective meetings, as well as progress on team activities. Coordinate complex team communications. Facilitate critical escalation activities, as needed, for tech transfer workstream and Operational Readiness in general. Propose and implement plans to resolves issues and take corrective actions for project activities on the critical path. Adhere to monthly reporting activities required by senior management and the Kite Portfolio process. Provide support to workstreams and SMEs to identify and mitigate complex project issues that may pose challenges to project delivery and operational goals. Facilitate risk assessment sessions with leadership teams or critical project teams, as needed. Mandatory Requirements Smartsheet (intermediate to advanced knowledge) Scheduling experience Biotechnology or pharmaceutical experience Must have ability to listen and distill information to ensure relevant details are communicated and highlighted to the right people and teams Must prioritize transparency and visibility in all aspects of project work Preferred Requirements Biotechnology or pharmaceutical tech transfer experience Prior experience in facility licensure a plus Additional Notes 18+ month contract Onsite in Carlsbad, CA area Unfortunately, remote work is not an option for this role
