Position Title: Dining Facilities Staff Areas: Oswego, NY - All Dining Facilities; Large Manufacturing Facility Shift Time: Monday – Friday (6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.); Position is Full-time. Basic Responsibilities: Be able to perform basic responsibilities that include but are not limited to: Report to work on time; proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – i.e., rubber gloves, hairnets, etc. Follow all safety policies while performing the job. Immediately inform the Dining Facilities Manager of staffing changes and needs. Identification and correction of both potential and existing deficiencies affecting safety and productivity. Immediately reporting personal injury or property damage to supervision. Reading and understanding chemical labels and bulletins displayed in the work place in order to maintain a safe environment. Maintain all assigned equipment by cleaning, organizing, and performing basic preventative maintenance. Assist in completion of services during times of staff shortage. Portray a courteous and professional image to clients and co-workers. Belief in a high-level of customer service. Compliance with all other Company and Client policies and procedures. Job Responsibilities: Be able to perform all assigned tasks which typically include but are not limited to the following: Work with Dining Operations Manager to plan for catering orders and carry out as assigned. Report needed repairs to equipment and supplies needed. Carry out cold prep. Make desserts as needed. Make side dishes as needed. Operate cash register as needed. Assist cook station and prepare wraps and salads as needed. Prepare for the next day's catering orders as needed. Attend regularly scheduled staff safety training sessions and staff meetings. Maintain facility equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly manner. Daily inspection of all Dining Facility areas to ensure work is properly completed. Report any customer complaints as they arise to Dining Operations Manager. Be able to perform all assignments that are requested with accuracy and efficiency. Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by supervision. Minimum Qualifications: G.E.D. or High School Diploma required Food service experience preferred Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace.
