We are currently looking for a Corporate Regulatory Affairs Specialist expert in Food law who will be based in our offices in our Headquarters in Barcelona and will support our business at a global level. Role & Responsibilities: The new incumbent will be responsible for: Understanding food regulations and regulatory processes; influence and monitor changes in line with Company policy of current food, packaging, copacked products and other regulations and regulatory processes that could affect technical aspects of our products. Reviewing and approving product formulations for technical compliance with national regulations and Company policy. Reviewing technical claims in Company advertising and other materials intended for public dissemination; prepare and approve product labels for compliance with national regulations and Company policy. Maintaining contacts with other local regulatory function promoting frequently update and harmonizing the artwork approval and regulation update processes. Attending to technical committees of national and also international associations representing the categories in which GBfoods is. Liaising with Marketing, business units, Development and Quality departments on new product in launch or in reformulation. Coordinating external consultant on Export labelling constraints, needs and legal opinions. University degree in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, or related field. Previous experience in regulatory affairs in food industry of at least 4-5 years Knowledge in food regulations and national laws, nutrition. Very fluent English and Italian (both mandatory at professional level) Ability to liaise with other functions Excellent leadership, team working skills and good communicate ability, problem solving.
