Overview: This position assists the unemployment insurance manager in the management of unemployment claims. The position will work with the Equifax Casebuilder system in responding to unemployment insurance claims, search the status of unemployment claims, examine for required information in responding to claims, and coordinates with unemployment insurance manager in preparing for upcoming appeal hearings. The position will perform other administrative duties including coordinating with other departments the executionm of various unemployment insurance tasks. Provide excellent customer service by responding to telephone calls from state agencies, clients, and former and current worksite employees. Responsibilities: Essential Functions Statement(s) Manages external unemployment insurance mail. Administers various unemployment-related tasks including initial claim responses, questionnaires including state call notices in the Equifax Casebuilder system (claims processing system). Organize unemployment insurance appeal hearings and coordinate witnesses’ schedules. Attend assigned appeal hearings as the primary representatives on behalf of G&A Partners and its clients. Submitting relevant documents with state agencies in advance of unemployment insurance appeal hearings. Administers incoming manual claims outside of Casebuilder. Acquire termination details of separated workers from clients and prepare separation details for submission to various state agencies meeting rigid deadlines. Communicate with internal staff regarding various unemployment insurance issues related to specific clients. Coordinate with management in preparing unemployment insurance activity reports. Qualifications: Competency Statement(s) Ability to successfully operate in multi-task, high tempo, stressful environment subject to rigid deadlines. Professional communication skills in providing customer services. Proficient administrative and clerical skills, including time management, file management, form designs, and typing. Written comprehension: ability to read, understand, and write information for correspondence with clients and state agencies. Independent thinking skills in pinpointing issues and strategizing appropriate solutions. Active listening: Work with relevant stakeholders in the organization to ensure efficiency in work performance and deliverables. Problem solving skills in addressing issues relating to UI claims Ability to partner with the UI manager to solve problems Team player Positive attitude and results-oriented. SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: Associate Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred Experience: Five-plus years of experience in high-level office support environment preferably in HR Able to type more than 25 words per minute
