JOB DESCRIPTION - Sr. Analyst and Program Lead, Energy Transition The Future Energy practice at FutureBridge helps senior executives in the global energy ecosystem – including oil & gas and power & utility sectors – identify new opportunities, develop breakthrough innovations, and build strategies that will transform the societies of the future. As a leader in this practice, you will influence our clients' actions through research -driven thought leadership on topics ranging from renewables and decarbonisation to digital transformation, operational excellence, and novel customer value propositions. As a core driver of FutureBridge's membership programs centered on the energy transition, your activities will include building on your domain expertise through conversations with industry leaders, start-ups, and stakeholders, representing FutureBridge’s thought leadership at a variety of forums, helping craft a distinctive identity for our value proposition by coaching individual subject matter experts, and generating sales leads. Although you will be working in an entrepreneurial environment in our rapidly-growing European operations, you will have deep contacts and collaboration with our global research teams. Responsibilities and Function Description Research content creation & thought-leadership  Using secondary research, primary research, and industry network create expert content exhibiting our analysis, viewpoint, and thought leadership  Produce insightful research reports that present our research and analysis as well as related content aligned to our membership programs Team coaching and leadership  Collaborate with our global research teams to undertake the relevant research  Guide the teams’ focus in collaboration with the Practice Head Strategic communication and "branding" support  Communicate our research using various platforms like the corporate website, client -specific workshops, events/conferences, webinars, and social media  Present such deliverables to prospects and clients on a case-by-case basis  Support sales enablement e.g., creation of "pitch decks" that showcase our expertise and capabilities in relevant domains for a corporate audience  Support FutureBridge’s marketing and branding initiatives through targeted contributions Client impact  Play the role of subject matter expert and trusted partner for clients of our Future Energy- linked membership programs  Conceive and execute various program enhancement ideas that deliver increasing client value  Own various initiatives that communicate the programs' findings and innovation updates to clients at appropriate intervals Attributes and Qualifications  Science/Engineering educational background required (M.S/Ph.D. preferred) – ideally in fields relevant to the Energy industry  Demonstrated grasp of the technical issues, innovation frontiers, and business dynamics in the Energy sector, especially as it relates to the ongoing transformation of the industry in renewables and sustainability, energy efficiency and energy storage, and novel materials and digitalization.  Minimum of 4 years' experience in one of the following areas: Energy research & advisory industry as an Analyst/Senior Analyst OR technology or market intelligence functions within the Energy, Power & Utility industry  Extreme intellectual curiosity paired with strong analytical thinking skills  Excellent communicator who is comfortable interacting with stakeholders at various levels; Strong presentation skills  Structured way-of-working and the ability to rise to the challenge when tackling complex problems  Results-oriented, pragmatic team player  Fluency in written and spoken English; Fluency in German, French, or Spanish a plus  Ability and willingness to travel internationally Location The Netherlands (Candidates already residing in NL/EU or authorized to work in NL/EU preferred) FutureBridge is a global organization that puts a premium on diversity.
